What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can place in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage, such as local storage, which can keep information on your device without being a cookie.
They can support a site, remember a preference, measure visits, or help deliver advertising. This policy uses “cookies” as a practical short name for cookies and similar browser technologies.

Our current technology inventory
As currently configured, AMPLIFYY uses one versioned local storage record from its consent manager. Local storage is browser storage, not a cookie. It records your category choices, the consent version, and the time of the decision so the banner does not keep returning during the same consent version.
The site also uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (such as from search or a link), and general information such as country, language and device type. Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use cookies, and Ahrefs states that IP addresses are not stored with analytics data. It does not identify individual visitors, and we do not use it for advertising. Because it does not store or read cookies on your device, it runs whatever choice you make in the cookie banner. You can read how Ahrefs handles this data in the Ahrefs Privacy Policy.
The site also has a consent-gated Google Tag Manager container, GTM-5F7TWFRZ. It loads only after you choose Analytics or Marketing. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management layer, not an analytics or advertising service by itself.
Installing the container does not mean that measurement or advertising tags are configured or active. Tags configured inside it may introduce their own cookies, storage, or provider requests once the relevant category is allowed. If you reject non-essential choices, or leave Analytics and Marketing switched off, Google Tag Manager is not requested.

What each category means
Essential storage is always on. Functional, Analytics, and Marketing choices are independent. Functional technology is not currently active. Analytics and Marketing consent controls Google Tag Manager, which loads only after you allow at least one of those categories. Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use cookies and runs regardless of your cookie-banner choice.

UK GDPR and PECR
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), storing or accessing information on your device generally needs your prior, informed consent unless a narrow exception applies. Essential storage is used because it is necessary to provide the consent choice and core site operation. Optional categories do not rely on that exception.
Where optional technologies are introduced, AMPLIFYY will ask first, explain their purpose, keep the choices granular, and leave them off until you agree. The related UK GDPR basis for optional processing is consent. Optional controls are never pre-ticked, and using the site is not conditional on accepting them.
Google Tag Manager follows that rule. The site does not request its container until Analytics or Marketing permission exists. If you enable only one category, the consent signal passed to the container keeps the other category denied.
05 / Your controls
Giving, changing, and withdrawing consent
- On a first visit, the banner offers Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences with equal prominence.
- Manage preferences lets you choose Functional, Analytics, and Marketing separately, while Essential remains on.
- Use the persistent Cookie settings button in the site footer or at the edge of the page to revisit your choices.
- If you withdraw Analytics or Marketing, the container receives an updated denied signal. The site clears the small set of identifiable first-party Google cookie names it has registered, where present.
The container or tags already loaded may have contacted other providers or set cookies with names this site cannot identify. Withdrawing consent does not reach into unrelated cookies or storage set by other services, and cannot promise immediate removal of every third-party cookie. It applies to optional technologies owned and registered by this site.
06 / Leaving this site
Booking and purchase destinations
Some links, including booking and purchase links, take you to a separate destination. That destination may use its own cookies, storage, and consent controls under its own policy. This manager does not control those technologies once you leave the AMPLIFYY website.
07 / Questions and rights
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You can raise questions or a request through the existing Contact / book a call route .
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you remain concerned about how your information is handled.

08 / Keeping this current
Policy updates
We may update this policy when the site, its technology, or the applicable rules change. If an optional category is introduced, the consent manager will ask for permission before that technology is loaded. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last reviewed.
