    How to make a data protection complaint

    Completing this form helps us investigate and reply. If you complain through social media or another public channel, email or post the details so we can reply securely. Another person may complain on your behalf using section 3.

    You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), but we ask you to contact us first. Visit ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.

    Checking your identity

    We may ask you or your representative to verify identity before addressing the complaint. Please supply requested information before we proceed.

    Timescales for replying

    • We acknowledge your complaint within 30 days.
    • We investigate without undue delay and keep you updated.
    • We communicate the outcome as soon as reasonably practicable. Complex complaints may take longer.
